A strange occurrence of this place is when you park a car at the foot of the hill and put it in neutral, it will start moving up the hill like there’s some invisible force pulling the car upward.

Every year, around the end of May, shadows of armed footsoldiers and equestrians go from the monastery of Agios Charalambos to the fort of Frangokastello. This is a mirage and is observed in the early morning when the sea is quiet and the air humidity is high, and it lasts for about 10 minutes.

If legends are to be believed you can sounds of an organ from the Czech catacombs.The underground passage is 30 feet deep, and there’s not a single room that could fit a musical instrument of such a size around there. Although these corridors seem quite ordinary, they soon begin to emit a reddish-orange glow.


The Stone Forest, China

These Stone Forest are believed to have appeared more than 200 million years ago. Formed by Tectonic movements, the underground part of the forest, Qifeng Cave is a place of true wonder. From August until November, every 30 minutes an underground river makes a vortex that lasts for just a few minutes and then dissipates rapidly.

In summers these rivers turn into a multicolored tapestry. The unique weeds are the reason for the color changes ranging from red, pink, blue, green, and yellow colors.


Blood Falls, Antarctica

The microbes present in this lake prevents the water from freezing even at 10°C. This glacier is considered to be one of the coldest ones with liquid flowing water.
